Hendrix Greyson of Neighbours confides in Kyle Canning next week on Australian television, as he fears he has cancer.
A testicular cancer screening kiosk was recently set up at Erinsborough’s Shorts and Brief’s film festival, and several Ramsay Street locals stopped by. When Hendrix (Benny Turland) was examined, a lump was discovered, and he was urged to have more testing done.
Hendrix is dealing with the possibility of cancer in upcoming scenes on 10 Peach, according to TV Week magazine. He invites Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) out for a night out to take his mind off it.
Hendrix becomes completely inebriated and is subsequently asked to leave the venue. As Roxy prepares to return home, Hendrix refuses to call it a night and tries to enter through the back door.
Roxy grabs Hendrix’s arm in an attempt to stop him, but Hendrix pushes her, and Roxy falls to the ground with a twisted ankle.
When Kyle (Chris Milligan) learns of Roxy’s injury and the incident with Hendrix, he confronts her angrily. Hendrix then tells Kyle the truth about what he’s been through, explaining that his fear of the worst-case scenario has kept him from taking the additional tests that have been recommended.
Hendrix admits to separating himself from Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone), who has noticed something is wrong with him and says he doesn’t see the point in going to school right now.
In the UK, these scenes will air in mid-October.
