When Leo Tanaka is dismissed on UK televisions next week, Hendrix Greyson of Neighbours is outraged.
Hendrix (Benny Turland), who was just recruited by Leo (Tim Kano) at the vineyard, is growing sceptical of his boss’ plans with Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly).
Leo has love for Chloe and has been standing in the way of her and her girlfriend Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) – but after Hendrix calls him out, the adolescent is left jobless.
In later sequences, Hendrix is told that he was dismissed because he carried home food from the vineyard that was nearly expired rather than throwing it out.
The actual reason, according to Hendrix, is that he confronted Leo about Chloe.
When Hendrix attempts to warn Chloe, he is unhappy that she does not trust him, despite the fact that she believes the firing was excessive.
After Leo takes advantage of Chloe’s worries about her relationship with Nicolette, the two have a heated exchange.
When Chloe and Leo fail to show up for David Tanaka’s (Takaya Honda), Aaron Brennan’s (Matt Wilson), and Nicolette’s baby shower, things get exceedingly uncomfortable. Despite the fact that the baby shower is an essential family occasion, the couple choose to stay at the vineyard instead.
While David and Aaron wait for Chloe, Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) reveals what Hendrix truly thinks about Leo.
Chloe and Leo eventually arrive, and while Nicolette seems unconcerned, Aaron and David are not deceived by Chloe’s reason for being late.
Chloe admits to having questions about her relationship with Nicolette after a disagreement, which greatly disturbs David and Aaron.
However, Nicolette’s passionate speech at the baby shower softens Chloe, and she looks to be totally on board and content with the partnership once more.
Following the baby shower, David notices Leo staring at Chloe and realises that what Hendrix has been saying may be true.
David confronts Leo, warning him that he must stand by Chloe and Nicolette and not intervene any more, or their own sibling bond would be jeopardised.
