After Seven teased the nail-biting trailer for the finale during coverage of the Tokyo Olympics, fans are looking forwards to the return of Home and Away.
Dedicated followers of the long-running show, on the other hand, may have missed the addition of two former stars from rival show Neighbours.
Harley Bonner, who portrayed Josh Willis in the Channel 10 drama from 2013 until 2016, when his character was killed off, is one of them.
The 30-year-old has also appeared in House Husbands, True Story with Hamish & Andy, and the documentary series Creative Kids. Natalie Roser, a model, is the woman he is dating.
He’ll portray trauma surgeon Dr. Logan Bennett, who’ll be the new love interest for Emily Weir’s character, Salt restaurant owner Mackenzie Booth.
In a recent interview, Harley described Logan as “competent, caring, clever, entertaining,” and “a bit of a nomad.”
His last name may ring a bell because his mother, Carla Bonner, played Stephanie Scully in Neighbours.
Jacqui Purvis, who starred in Home and Away as Felicity Newman, has also joined the cast.
In the teaser, the blonde beauty is shown flirting with Tane Parata, who is played by Ethan Browne, as he enters a club.
Later, she is shown bartending before climbing on top of the bar and doing her Coyote Ugly skills.
Jacqui previously appeared on Neighbours in 2019 for an 18-episode run as Melissa Lohan, Chloe Brennan’s past love interest, played by April Rose Pengilly.
On Monday, August 9th at 7 pm on Channel Seven, Home and Away will return.
