Home and Away have finally resolved the massive drama on Australian screens by Leah Patterson-Baker.

In the episode on Channel 7 in Australia on Thursday (February 27), Leah (Ada Nicodemou) returned home to Summer Bay in a state of shock and trauma.

Shortly before the final episode of the 2019 season, the fan-favorite went gone, leaving a little clue to her whereabouts. However, the Australian episodes this week revealed that a mystery man was holding Leah captive. Leah spent weeks living with sinister Douglas (Adam Booth), a violent man who terrorized her in following his every instruction.

As Leah reappeared on screen, she was a shell of her former self as the frightening antagonist had frightened her into submission.
The new scenes from the series showed Leah's fight back against Douglas, hitting him with a torch when he attempted to force her into a wedding dress to become his wife.
Leah fled from the house and was reunited with her husband, Justin Morgan (James Stewart), after a tip-off from policeman Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin), who was checking the town for her.

Leah returned home to the Morgan house after being checked out at the Northern Districts Hospital but was obviously traumatized by her experience as she had barely connected with Justin, Tori, and Irene.

Future episodes should discuss the consequences of Leah's traumatic encounter, as the pain of Douglas continues to take its toll.

Would Leah's rehabilitation be a long journey ahead?

Home and Away viewers in the UK will see those scenes in early April on Channel 5.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15 pm and 6 pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays on Channel 7 (Australia).
