Georgie Parker, who starred in Home and Away, has asked for Cameron Daddo to return, something we can all support.
The popular actor first appeared on the Australian serial as Evan, and then returned as Evan’s twin brother Owen, who fell in love with Georgie’s character Roo Stewart.
Georgia discussed Roo’s love life with Inside Soap magazine when making her case for Cameron’s homecoming
“Roo is a middle-aged woman who has had some interesting relationships,” Georgia explained. It’s always fascinating to me to figure out why she picks them. Cameron was a pleasure to work with. I’d love for Cam to return if Roo was going to be in a relationship.
“I believed he had the appropriate vibe, nature, and attitude because he’s such a beautiful human being.” But now is the time for Roo to settle down and expand out…”
Georgie wants more Stewarts to return, but she’s particular about who she wants to see.
Duncan, Roo’s brother, is welcome to return, she added. “Quinn, on the other hand, would want to take her kid Ryder away, which I don’t want! It’d be fantastic if Roo’s daughter returned to Summer Bay… Martha would have grown up a lot over the years, and it’s the dysfunctional things that makes for wonderful drama.”
When Cameron departed the show for the second time last year, the cast paid respect to him, with Georgie saying, “How can I list the ways?” Cam, you are a stunning man on the inside and out. We were all very fortunate that you were able to join us in the Stewart household and play with us.
“You’ve become like family to me, and I can’t wait to work with you again.”
