The day of Bella and Emmett’s dazzling exhibition approaches on next week’s episode of Home and Away in the UK. While Nikau strives frantically to woo Bella, it appears that another couple is about to reconnect in a shocking way.
Bella’s (Courtney Miller) internship with Emmett (JR Reyne) has given her the push she needs to pursue a career as a photographer.
She sold her first image just a few months after starting to work with the fashion photographer, and the two are preparing to organize their own show in the city. Her relationship with Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) may have ended due to Sienna’s (Rose Riley) deception, but she’s at the top of her game professionally.
Emmett, on the other hand, is concealing an even greater secret as they put the finishing touches on their big event. He’s been offered a position in New York and will be departing Summer Bay in the coming weeks.
Mackenzie is the only one who knows, and she’s told him that this news will certainly shatter Bella after everything she’s gone through in the previous few years.
It’s made much more difficult when Dean praises him for everything he’s done to help Bella and turn her life around. Knowing he’s going to destroy his protégé is heartbreaking for the photographer.
He ultimately chooses to wait until after the show to inform her. It’s probably a wise option, because the show is about to begin with a bang!
Tane, on the other hand, grudgingly agrees to go to the exhibition with Ziggy. When Dean recommends that the three of them travel to the city together to save money on gas, she quickly regrets taking her boyfriend along.
It’s especially terrible news for Zig, who is starting to accept the reality that her affections for Dean are resurfacing. She has come to realise that she was too harsh on him, and that her love for him may never have gone away, over a year after their split.
She broke up with Dean because he kept his role in Ross Nixon’s death a secret, but she now sees that he only did it to protect Colby, putting his friend’s safety first.
Next week, she confides in Justin that she has begun to view things differently. She has no idea how she feels right now, and she’ll be locked in a car with both of them on the way to the city!
Justin reassures her that she won’t be left alone with Dean, so she doesn’t need to be concerned. It’ll only take a few hours, and then she’ll be able to devote her full attention to Tane.
That, however, is not the case. Tane exits just as the three are about to leave.
He receives a text from Bella, who is being harassed at her and Dean’s apartment by Nikau. He’s shown up with flowers and wants to transport Bella to her wedding, and he’s not going to say no.
Tane is eventually compelled to create an explanation in order to avoid dealing with his nephew.
As a result, he unwillingly leaves the two ex-lovers to travel to the city together. As they drive away, he has a troubled expression on his face – is he afraid that Ziggy still has feelings for her ex?
Ziggy takes a deep breath as she and Dean leave, knowing she’ll be spending the next few days with the guy she believed she’d be with for the rest of her life.
The two ex-lovers get along better than ever at the show.
They’re both in the same boat: they’re surrounded by photographers who know nothing about them, and they’re utterly out of their element. Dean can’t even eat the food, spitting up a canapé when he tries caviar for the first time, much to Ziggy’s pleasure.
Thankfully, they have each other for company, and it’s apparent that they still have a strong attraction. When Ziggy refuses Tane’s phone call, it becomes increasingly apparent where her heart truly rests.
Ziggy eventually succumbs to her increasing seduction. She pulls Dean aside and expresses her gratitude for spending the day with him.
She says, “I just want you to know that today has been…”
“How has today been?”
Instead of giving him a suitable response, she leans in and kisses him on the lips!
If Ziggy cheating on Tane wasn’t terrible enough, the two get caught by the worst person conceivable!
Despite being told not to approach Bella, Nikau takes Ari’s (Rob Kipa-Williams) motorcycle and rides to the city, arriving just in time to watch his uncle’s fiancée enjoy a passionate kiss with her ex at the exhibition.
Nikau is unlikely to keep this one a secret, especially since half of Summer Bay is presently punishing him for his own dishonest ways.
But first, there’s one last attempt to reclaim Bella. This might get a little messy…!
In other news, Christian (Ditch Davey) is eager to learn where Tori (Penny McNamee) is as he continues his efforts to mend their relationship.
Even though they aren’t officially back together, the doctor wants to propose to Tori once again and put their relationship back on track. However, he is concerned that she isn’t ready, and in order to avoid being rejected, he enlists Justin (James Stewart) to investigate Tori.
As her brother fumbles through a query about where she and Christian are, she queries, “What are you doing?”
“OK, this is ridiculous; just tell me if you’re ready to resume your relationship with the guy!”
When Justin downloads to Christian, he informs him that Tori is ready; all she needs now is for him to take the next step. The plan is set in motion — Christian is going to propose!
If only everything were as simple as that. Tori is also ready to make a huge change, and later that day she makes her own proposition to Christian: she wants him to return home!
This wasn’t part of the plan, as much as he wanted it to be. Christian is compelled to inform Tori that he can’t move back in with her since he doesn’t want to spoil his own great gesture!
“I’m afraid I won’t be able to…”
Tori makes a break for it before he can explain himself, distraught that she’s made a fool of herself again again.
What is the status of Christian’s proposed plans now?
