After a massive explosion hits Summer Bay, Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) is one of many Home and Away favourites left battling for their lives.
In forthcoming scenes, Ryder Jackson’s (Lukas Radovich) and Chloe Anderson’s (Sam Barrett) notorious food truck catches fire, threatening some of the Bay’s best.
Jasmine is caught in the crossfire, but despite her injuries, she leaps into action to assist others who were directly affected by the explosion.
What a hero you are!
‘Jas is in total survival mode because she is so focused on making sure everyone else is okay,’ said actress Sam Frost.
‘Being the sole nurse on the scene, she feels obligated to do everything she can to look after everyone and triage the situation.’
‘After the explosion, everything is quite hectic, and there isn’t much time to think about anything other than aiding the individuals who have been hurt and are in critical condition.’
Jasmine, on the other hand, is far more affected by the explosion than she realises, and later scenes show her collapsing, much to the dismay of everyone around her.
‘Jasmine is one of the residents engaged, and the bomb causes her to have a mental break and lose her memory,’ said Irene Roberts actress Lynne McGranger.
‘She’ll ask something along the lines of, “Irene, have you been to the police station yet?” Irene would, of course, respond, and then ask the identical question again less than five minutes later.
‘Jasmine continues asking what she’s in hospital for, Dr Christian is baffled and can’t figure out what’s wrong with her, and Irene is worried about her because Jasmine previously suffered from depression after Robbo died, and she’s pretty fragile at the moment.’
In the aftermath of the bomb, Sam describes Jasmine as “fragile,” but believes she will heal in time.
She went on to say, ‘She has intermittent memory loss and has no idea what’s going on.’ ‘Thankfully, Irene and Christian will be there to help Jas in the following days, and we are hopeful that she will make a full recovery.’
