After spending time apart to ponder the changes in his life, Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) returns to the Bay. He’s not in the mood to be around people following his infidelity scandal, his split with Bella (Courtney Miller), and the loss of his modeling career.
While out and about, Chloe (Sam Barrett) meets him and attempts to spend time with him, but he pushes her away. Then Ryder (Lukas Radovich) turns up, and it’s apparent that he’s not going to let Nikau off the hook for how he treated Bella (Courtney Miller).
Although Nikau accepts full responsibility for his conduct, Ryder reminds him that when he first started dating Bella, he advised him to be cautious since she had a terrible background and had just recently moved over the Colby (Tim Franklin) issue.
Nikau claims to be aware of the seriousness of his error, but Ryder refuses to let it go and pursues Nikau as he walks away, enraged. Nikau finally breaks and turns around to smack Ryder in the jaw, knocking him out.
When Jasmine (Sam Frost) notices the violence, she confronts Nikau, but he refuses to listen. Meanwhile, now that Nikau has wounded her lover, Chloe has reached her breaking point and takes a go at him back at the home.
Is Nikau’s destructive behaviour likely to cost him all of his friends?
