Bella’s (Courtney Miller) and Emmett’s (JR Reyne) exhibition day has arrived, and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) is eager to show his support for his ex-girlfriend. Bella, on the other hand, does not want her unfaithful ex there on one of the most important days of her life.
Nikau goes to Bella’s house in the morning, but she doesn’t want him there, so she texts Tane (Ethan Browne) to come fetch him. Bella is late to her house for their trip down, and Nikau is whisked away by his uncle as Irene arrives.
Tane tries to distract his nephew with pizza at home, but when he returns with the meal, he discovers Nikau has vanished. Meanwhile, we find Nikau racing towards the city, having stolen Ari’s (Rob Kipa-Williams) motorcycle in his haste to get to the show.
Nikau is appalled when he sees Ziggy and Dean kissing in a private place when he first arrives in the city. He saves this knowledge for later and enters the gallery, where he is spotted by Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and Emmett. They attempt to persuade him to go, but he is adamant.
When Bella sees Nikau, she flips out and tells him to go. Nikau, on the other hand, is on a selfish mission and enters the platform, snatching the microphone, and announcing to the audience that he adores Bella.
Emmett attempts to calm him down, but Nikau snaps and becomes violent, urging Emmett that he must fight him – much to Bella’s dismay…
