On Home and Away, Tori Morgan and Christian Green will encounter a huge setback in their wedding preparations in upcoming episodes.
The duo is now ramping up their wedding plans this week on Australian television, after their romance fell apart earlier this year.
Tori (Penny McNamee) and Christian (Ditch Davey) are joined by Justin (James Stewart) and Ada Nicodemou for a celebration meal after the latter pair retrieved the money that had been taken from them by fraudster Susie (Bridie Carter).
When the topic of Tori and Christian’s wedding plans comes up, Justin wonders why they can’t stick to the original plan and hold the wedding at his and Tori’s brother Brody’s (Jackson Heywood) vineyard.
Tori quickly learns that the venue is out since Brody and his partner Simone (Emily Eskell) are expecting a baby and are just too preoccupied to host the wedding, forcing Tori and Christian to start again with their wedding arrangements.
However, the planning quickly hits a hitch as the pair begins to argue about a new wedding site. Is this the couple’s latest setback going to be the last?
“After all Christian and Tori have been through, he’s looking forward to getting back on the same page with her,” Ditch Davey said to TV Week.
Tori and Christian’s relationship had already hit rock bottom and was becoming strained earlier this year when Christian began spending all of his time on his patient Rachel (Marny Kennedy), whom he had saved from a skydiving accident when he was at the airport.
The doctor postponed his wedding to Tori throughout Rachel’s following recuperation at the hospital because he believed it was his destiny to continue healing Rachel.
However, once Rachel recovered and was released from the hospital, she was involved in a terrible automobile accident and died, despite Christian’s best efforts to save her life.
Christian’s view on life began to alter as a result of Rachel’s death, and he regretted putting a gap between him and Tori before attempting to make apologies.
