STACEY Slater’s feud with her mother Jean escalates this week, with potentially life-altering consequences for Tommy.
Lacey Turner, who plays the stall owner in the BBC One soap, said that she had married a woman who was incarcerated.
Kat has had it with Jean and Stacey’s bickering and has threatened to leave.
Has Jean and Stacey taken their feud too far?
Jean, on the other hand, was suspicious of Eve Unwin’s motives and solicited the help of her son Sean to get rid of her.
Eve consented to leave, but Stacey was enraged when she returned home and discovered what Jean and Sean had done.
The following week, Stacey and Jean are still at odds over the matter, with other family members caught in the crossfire.
Kat is fed up with Jean and Stacey’s bickering over Eve and has threatened to move in with Phil.
Stacey extends an olive branch to Kat later in the week, begging her not to move in with Phil.
They take all the kids out for the day to try to fix matters with Jean, and Kat demands that they swear not to allow Tommy to play football while he’s still recovering.
Despite her best attempts, Stacey still has disagreements with her mother and seeks refuge at the café.
Jean rushes off to find her daughter as Kheerat flirts with her and offers some insightful words.
Tommy, on the other hand, is alone and chooses to play with his concealed football while no one is looking.
Will Tommy’s football career be cut short before it even begins?
BLAST FROM THE PAST
Jean was taken aback earlier this week when her daughter Stacey announced that she had married a woman who was incarcerated.
Sean, Jean’s son, made a surprise return to the serial to confront Stacey’s new wife Eve, played by actor Robert Kazinsky.
The actor has stated that he will return in the future when he returns to the UK from his home in the United States.
“Earlier this year, because of the global pandemic and a thankfully difficult work schedule, I was able to visit my family in the UK for the first time in years, and when I was packed my bags, I sent Kate Oates an email,” he told the Metro.
“It was simple really, I live in LA and try to see my family once a year – or more if I can – so I figured why wouldn’t Sean do the same?” Do you want to come in for a cup of tea?
“So I said Kate, I’m in London for one day, let’s create a scene, and I’ll come by in the morning and we’ll do it, or better yet, every time I’m in the UK, if I can.” Let’s do it again, and she rallied the troops and pulled it off.”
