Nikau cheats on Bella, the Bay is rocked by an explosion, and Justin’s loved ones are pushed to their limits.
Nikau does the unimaginable next week on Home and Away by sleeping with scheming Sienna.
An explosion somewhere puts lives in jeopardy, while Justin’s odd behaviour continues to worry everyone.

- Nikau is unable to attend Bella’s important occasion
Bella and Emmett’s exhibition preview at Salt is tonight. Nikau has vowed to be there when he returns from his modelling obligations in the city, but Sienna is doing all she can to prevent him from arriving.
Sienna also begs Allegra to help her sabotage Nikau and Bella’s relationship. Nikau would refuse to participate in the three-month modelling contract in Japan, she believes, if the young pair stays together.
Allegra steals Bella’s phone while at the photography event and impersonates her in a series of texts to Nikau, claiming that the event hasn’t begun yet and that he doesn’t need to hurry back.
- Nikau makes a blunder
Sienna asks Nikau to spend time in her opulent city apartment as a means of further delaying him. Bella becomes increasingly distressed by Nikau’s disappearance and seeks solace from Emmett, who holds her.
Allegra takes a picture of it and sends it to Sienna, who shows it to Nikau. Nikau is heartbroken because he believes Bella is having an affair with Emmett.
Sienna carries out the next part of her strategy by wooing Nikau. When he falls for the trap and spends the night with her, she is overjoyed.
- The Bay is rocked by an explosion
When Ryder and Chloe’s food truck explodes, an average morning in the Bay takes a tragic turn. Emmett is caught up in the chaos and has an eye injury, necessitating immediate medical attention in the city.
Ryder looks for Chloe and discovers her trapped behind some debris. Jasmine needs to come to Chloe’s aid as they wait for the medical services to arrive since she has a shrapnel wound in her belly.
Jasmine’s health takes a sudden turn for the worse after she assists others at the scene when she falls with a possible brain haemorrhage.
- There are fingers pointing towards the explosion
Chloe is transported to the hospital and will need emergency surgery. Mia is left in a state of shock and bitterness, blaming Ryder for her daughter’s death.
Meanwhile, Ryder is making some stunning allegations of his own, claiming that Mac must have purposefully damaged the vehicle as part of their continuing business feud.
Mac is heartbroken that Ryder could think her of falling so low, especially after learning that Ari and Mia are having a baby together.
- Nikau comes to the realisation that he has been deceived
After betraying Bella by sleeping with Sienna, Nikau feels awful. When he returns to the Bay, the village is in shambles as a result of the explosion.
Nikau and Bella subsequently find the opportunity to share notes on the events of the previous night. They’re startled to find that Sienna and Allegra spent the entire evening plotting to keep them apart, with Nikau being misled by the deceptive photo.
Nikau feels much terrible about what he did now that he knows Bella didn’t cheat on him. He does not, however, tell Bella that he slept with Sienna.
- Sienna extorts money from Nikau
Sienna keeps up the ruse by making an appearance in the Bay and asking to attend Bella’s show. Nikau is scared of telling Bella something she doesn’t want her to know.
Nikau decides to tell his uncle Tane about his actions the night before. Tane argues that Nikau must do the right thing and tell Bella the truth, but Nikau is frightened and avoids every opportunity to do so.
Later, Nikau tries to stand up to Sienna by refusing to pose for her any longer, including the trip to Japan. Sienna soon outsmarts him, threatening to tell Bella everything until he changes his mind.
- The explosion’s true cause is revealed
Mac insists that she had nothing to do with the explosion as she continues to defend herself to Ryder. Ryder is still undecided about whether or not he believes her.
However, Ryder is later contacted by the police, who confirm that the explosion was caused by a broken gas connection. Ryder’s emotions are flipped on their heads when he quits blaming Mac and begins blaming himself for not detecting something was wrong.
- A fresh detective interrogates Irene
As the dust from the explosion settles, attention returns to the ‘Who killed Susie?’ enquiry. A woman named Amy Peters asks Irene on her way to the Diner whether this is where Susie’s body was discovered. Irene treats her with contempt, believing she is an inconsiderate tourist.
After the homicide task force arrives in town, Irene is shocked to hear that Amy is the new investigator in charge of the investigation.
Amy presses Irene for another interview and puts the heat on her, making it apparent that she’s a prime suspect.
Amy was previously seen in the feature-length spin-off Home and Away: Revenge, which may be familiar to Home and Away fans.
- Dean is the one who finds Justin’s addiction
When Dean notices that Ziggy still doesn’t feel secure with Justin, he gets concerned for her safety. When Justin begs Dean to get some pills for him, everything becomes obvious.
Dean recognises Justin’s drug addiction and becomes more empathetic to him. Dean, Ziggy, and Tane all try to help Justin, but he still appears to be resistant to aid.
- Ziggy is interrogated about Justin
Amy decides to interview Ziggy to see what she can learn about Justin, another probable suspect in Susie’s death. When Amy distorts her words, Ziggy feels upset and attempts to defend Justin.
Ziggy arrives home later and is shocked to see Justin there, since he’s hunting for some leftover pills that she had earlier confiscated.
Ziggy is terrified by Justin’s unpredictable behaviour and reluctance to leave. Finally, when Ziggy threatens to call the cops, Justin decides to leave.
- Cash is irritated by Amy’s tactics
Amy requests that Cash take her out to supper in town. Amy can’t help but ask Stephen and Leah some off-the-record questions about the Susie case when she finds them eating dinner together.
Stephen reveals to Amy that he and Leah were not with John when he recently got bogus texts from a person posing as Susie. Amy is intrigued by this since it implies that John may have sent the texts personally.
Amy’s unconventional techniques irritate Cash, who expresses his preference for things to be done by the book, generating friction between the two coworkers.
- John is the subject of slanderous charges
Amy has a new set of questions for John, as she has discovered that he has time missing around the time Susie vanished.
Amy also questions John about the messages, assuming that he may have sent them to himself in order to throw everyone off. When John learns that Stephen put him in trouble with the cops, he is furious.
Later, John and Stephen argue about their differing perspectives on what transpired. Irene advises them to quit fighting since the cops will want them to turn on each other.
- Leah and Stephen become more intimate
Justin’s troubling behaviour persists as he purchases additional pain medicine from a shady source.
Meanwhile, Leah continues to rely on Stephen for assistance, despite her dissatisfaction with the situation. When they are about to kiss, their friendship takes a turn, but they stop themselves. Despite everything, Leah says that she is still dedicated to Justin and does not want to pursue the relationship any further.
- Kieran is invited to stay by Roo
Roo receives a note from Kieran that she is supposed to pass on to Martha when she returns from Merimbula. After reading the heartfelt message, Roo becomes empathetic and thinks that her disturbed half-brother deserves a second opportunity.
Roo informs Kieran that he may remain on the sofa for a bit because the trailer park is currently filled. Ryder is concerned about this, reminding Roo of the difficulty Kieran created the last time.
- Kieran confesses to something
Kieran realises that he needs to be honest with Roo, so he informs her that he does not have an AA sponsor. This was a condition of his release, and he lied to the police about it.
Roo tries to assist Kieran by getting Irene to sponsor him, but Irene isn’t interested. When Kieran has to tell the cops about his deceit, Cash is sympathetic and offers to assist him in finding someone acceptable.
- Rachel gets rejected by Christian
Rachel is about to be released from the hospital, but she is conflicted about it because she will no longer be spending as much time with Christian. Christian’s problematic decision to forgo his happiness with Tori in order to treat Rachel is also confronted by Jasmine.
When Rachel reaches out to lovingly touch Christian, Christian realises he has gone too far. He clarifies that he never considered Rachel to be a love fit, but he apologises if he gave her the incorrect idea.
